Straw Market Purses and Misrepresented Words: embracing, engaging, enacting

October 28, 2011

  embracing, engaging, enacting

Will you help me avoid Staw Market purse transactions?

In light of our intentional conversation about how accurately we present His words to others, I am prompted to memorize and meditate on His Words:

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer.

Psalm 19:14

that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel
Ephesians 6:19

To build life habits of faith so that I embrace, engage, and enact His ways, I am prompted to have an intentional conversation with a trusted friend that starts something like this:

When we talk, do I offer you an accurate version of God’s words? How well do I bring His perspective into our friendship?

Will you help me avoid Staw Market purse transactions in our friendship?
