Anticipation, the heart of Christmas … Just saying …
Just saying …
I’ve loved talking about anticipation this week.
We have every reason to see the “unknowns” of life just as we see unwrapped Christmas presents. We have every reason to anticipate the revealing of life’s uncertainties, just as if it were Christmas morning. Those yet-to-be-revealed things have been prepared for us as gifts of grace and mercy by our loving Father, the Giver of every “good and precious gift.”
I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in His word I put my hope. My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning. Ps 130:5-6
“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power,
For you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.”
When we have that truth in clear view, we have all we need to live in anticipation all year. May Christmas anticipation fill your days!
